Happy Mama's Day to all the great mothers who give and give and give and give, and still give when it's rough, to shower love and raise children until they reach adulthood. And then you still love, even though they're adults, and never expect anything in return.
On Mother's Day, restaurants will be packed, flower shops emptied of floral bouquets, and Hallmark cards will be handed over, all to celebrate a mother's undying love and dedication.
Today's world has mother's being overextended, having to work and also raise children. Some mother's work because they truly enjoy a career and the benefits that come with it, some work to help with the finances, and other's work because they're the only ones putting food on the table. All are doing what they believe is right.
I miss my Mama who had her homecoming ceremony to heaven. Though we had differences in the way we lived our lives, I adore her. She's always in my heart.
As a mother, I've tried to teach my children about the wonder of life, the importance of having a sense of humor, and how important it is to be loved and give love. My quirky personality has embarassed them at times, but they do know how much I love them, because I tell them all the time.
So, I share a comedic video link, with yours truly performing as, "Mama Says," blogging about family love. Enjoy and Happy Mother's Day!
